Using ReviseRush without an account

You can revise without giving us any personal details. Your progress — streak, accuracy, confidence levels, weak topics, chosen exam boards and exam date — is then stored only on your own device.

If you subscribe on that device, your Stripe subscription reference is also stored on the device so the app can confirm your access.

If you create an account

We store your email address, your account identifier, any current and target grade you choose to enter, and your revision progress, so it can sync between your devices.

Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us.

We use this data only to run your account, sync your progress and confirm your access. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Payments and Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as its own data controller for payment data. Your name, email and payment details are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.

ReviseRush never receives or stores your card details. We only ask Stripe whether a subscription linked to your email or subscription ID is active, and store the reference and renewal date needed to show your status.

Tracking and third parties

ReviseRush does not run advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers.

The services we rely on to run the app are our hosting and database/authentication provider (which stores account and progress data) and Stripe (which handles payments).

Groups and leaderboards

Revision groups are private and invite-code only. There is no public discovery, no group chat, no direct messages and no photo or file uploads.

Only your chosen display name and your revision stats — questions answered, correct answers, accuracy, streak and most-revised subject — are shown to group members. Real names are never required.

While Groups is in beta, group membership and your display name are stored only on your own device, and leaderboards show your real weekly stats alongside sample members. You can change your display name or leave a group at any time.

How long we keep data

Progress and account data are kept while your account exists so your revision history is not lost.

Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as it needs them for its own legal and accounting duties.

Your control and your rights

You can erase your revision progress at any time using Reset progress in Settings, which clears it on the device and in your account.

You can remove stored subscription access from a device on the Full access screen, and clearing your browser storage removes local ReviseRush data.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and data to be deleted. Contact support and we will action deletion requests.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, this page is updated with a new date before or when the change takes effect.
