Privacy Policy
ReviseRush is built to need as little personal data as possible.
What we store
Your revision progress — streak, accuracy, confidence levels, weak topics, chosen exam boards and exam date — is stored locally on your own device.
If you subscribe, your Stripe subscription ID is also stored on your device so the app can confirm your access.
No account is required and ReviseRush never receives or stores your card details.
Payments and Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as its own data controller for payment data. Your name, email and payment details are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
ReviseRush only asks Stripe whether a given subscription ID is active.
Groups and leaderboards
Revision groups are private and invite-code only. There is no public discovery, no group chat, no direct messages and no photo or file uploads.
Only your chosen display name and your revision stats — questions answered, correct answers, accuracy, streak and most-revised subject — are shown to group members. Real names are never required.
While Groups is in beta, group membership and your display name are stored only on your own device, and leaderboards show your real weekly stats alongside sample members. You can change your display name or leave a group at any time.
Your control
You can erase your progress at any time using Reset progress in Settings, and remove stored subscription access on a device from the Full access screen.
Clearing your browser storage also removes your ReviseRush data.
Future changes
If cloud sync or accounts are added later, this policy will be updated before those features go live.
ReviseRush is an independent educational revision aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Pearson or any exam board. All notes and questions are original. Always check content against your official course and specification. No grade outcome is guaranteed.
